H is for…

There were 2 final contenders for our ‘H’ verse and I really couldn’t choose so this week we are doing both! Besides, next week is a review week so we’ll have plenty of extra time if we need it. So…

This weeks Memory Verses: H is for…

“He made the moon to mark the seasons; the sun knows it’s time for setting.”
Psalm 104:19

“He determines the number of the stars; he gives to all of them their names.”
Psalm 147:4

Hymn of the week: Great is Thy Faithfulness (Chisholm/Runyan)

Great is Thy faithfulness, O God my Father,
There is no shadow of turning with Thee;
Thou changest not, Thy compassions they fail not;
As Thou has been Thou forever wilt be.

Summer and winter, and springtime and harvest,
Sun, moon and stars in their courses above
Join with all nature in manifold witness
To Thy great faithfulness, mercy and love.

Great is Thy faithfulness! Great is Thy faithfulness!
Morning by morning new mercies I see;
All I have needed Thy hand hath provided
Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me!

  1. BOYS, did you know the moon is orbiting the earth? The moon is revolving around the earth at a speed about 2,300 MPH, faster than a speeding rifle bullet. The moon takes 29 days, 12 hours, 44 minutes to complete a full cycle. -Johnny
