Dear friend. Have you been viewing the discipline of reading your Bible everyday the same way you view going on diet? Like you are going to have to give up all the fats and the sweets and the carbs in order to accomplish this one task? The Bible isn’t diet food! It’s a feast full of sweet wine and rich marrow! Don’t you know that when you aren’t keeping the feast you are starving yourself spiritually? Social media, that verse of the day app, and the pathetic crumbs badly equipped Christian influencers are throwing your way are not going to sustain you in these dark times! Come to the table that is filled to overflowing with the Bread of Life! Eat. Bible.
