Reading #1: Deuteronomy 10:12-22
Questions: What reason are the Israelites given in verse 14 for fulfilling the requirements in the previous 2 verses? In verse 15, what shocking reality is juxtaposed against God’s rightful possession of the heavens and earth? According to verse 16 what response are the Israelite’s to have to this truth?

Reading #2: 1 Chronicles 29:10-22
Questions: What reason does David give in verse 11 for His benedictory praise to the Lord? Memory Verse: Job 31:26-28

Reading #1: Exodus 32
Questions: What reasons do the Israelites (and Aaron) give for their idolatry in verses 1 and 21-25? According to verse 10, why was God intent on consuming the Israelites in His wrath? According to verses 12 and 13, what 2 reasons does Moses give for God to relent from His anger? How did Moses’ attitude change in verses 19 and 20 when he actually saw what was going on? What were the consequences of the Israelites’ idolatry?

Questions: In verse 20 and 24, what reasons does Moses give for the Lord’s warnings against idolatry? Questions: Which sin did God give His people over to in verse 42? How does Stephen’s intercessory prayer in verse 60 echo Moses’s in Exodus 32:11-14 and Christ’s in Luke 23:34?
