Reading #1: Exodus 32
Questions: What reasons do the Israelites (and Aaron) give for their idolatry in verses 1 and 21-25? According to verse 10, why was God intent on consuming the Israelites in His wrath? Questions: Which sin did God give His people over to in verse 42? How does Stephen’s intercessory prayer in verse 60 echo Moses’s in Exodus 32:11-14 and Christ’s in Luke 23:34?
